Guacamole

This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make

Ingredients

2 Ripe avocados (they are ripe when the skin is black and they give when squeezed gently, but don't feel mushy)
Juice of 1/2 lime (or more to taste)
1/4 of an onion, chopped
1/2 small tomato, chopped (optional) or a spoonful of salsa (optional)
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper

Equipment
Bowl
Fork
Sharp knife

Procedure
  1. Cut all the way around the avocado, the long way, cutting it into two halves and remove the pit
  2. Use a spoon to scoop the avocado flesh out in pieces and put them into the bowl. Mash with a fork until it's the consistency you like (smooth or chunky)
  3. Squeeze in the lime and add the onion, tomato or salsa if using, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
  4. Mix all together and taste. Add more lime spices if you need to
Serve with cut veggies or tortilla chips
