
This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make
Ingredients
2 Ripe avocados (they are ripe when the skin is black and they give when squeezed gently, but don't feel mushy)
Juice of 1/2 lime (or more to taste)
1/4 of an onion, chopped
1/2 small tomato, chopped (optional) or a spoonful of salsa (optional)
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Equipment
Bowl
Fork
Sharp knife
Procedure
- Cut all the way around the avocado, the long way, cutting it into two halves and remove the pit
- Use a spoon to scoop the avocado flesh out in pieces and put them into the bowl. Mash with a fork until it's the consistency you like (smooth or chunky)
- Squeeze in the lime and add the onion, tomato or salsa if using, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
- Mix all together and taste. Add more lime spices if you need to
